HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER
Job description:
Northwest Health Care Linen is seeking a Human Resource Manager to oversee a full range of human resource programs.
The HR Manager will work in all areas of Human Resources operations, including recruiting, benefits, employee relations, employee appreciation, training, policy development and HRIS maintenance. This role will interact with all areas of the company and requires strong interpersonal skills.
Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- General HR Administration. Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs; compensation, benefits, leaves; background checks, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance & talent management; productivity, recognition; occupational health and safety; and training and development.)
- Recruitment, Hiring & Onboarding. Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding and orientation.
- Personnel Documentation & Compliance. Maintains compliance with employment laws, regulations, and recommends best practices. Develop and review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Employee Relations. Investigate, resolve, and communicate employee questions, issues, and/or concerns.
- Benefits Administration. New hire orientation and enrollment, annual open enrollment, and termination administration.
- Payroll Administration. Process bi-weekly payroll.
- Workers Compensation Administration. Manages claims including communications with the Department of Labor, coordinating light-duty/return to work programs, OSHA monitoring and reporting, working closely with the COO.
- DOT Drug Testing. Ensure accurate roster. Enroll and schedule candidates into random drug testing.
- Employee Engagement. Support employee activities that enhance engagement and satisfaction (e.g., staff activities/events, recognition programs, facilitating site communications, etc.)
- General Executive Administrative Support. General admin support to Executive Team as needed (e.g., meeting support, misc. AP/AR support, etc.).
- Customer Service. Demonstrate excellent customer service; resolve issues in a timely manner; communicate to ensure alignment and satisfaction; operate with customers' best interests in mind.
- General Administration. Assist in general office administration work; answer phones; data entry and reporting.

Education and/or Experience:
Candidate preferred to have a Certification in HR upon hire. Northwest Health Care Linen will provide support and opportunity for continued education to maintain a HR certification!!
- 3 or more years of experience in Human Resources management preferred and/or an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a group
