North Coast Credit Union is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support to our HR team while helping deliver a positive employee experience.  This role is a key point of contact for employees and supports HR compliance, onboarding, benefits administration, recruitment coordination, and engagement initiatives.  This is a great opportunity to grow your career in HR, while making a meaningful impact. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate core HR operations, including employee lifecycle transactions, personnel records, payroll data auditing, and internal HR communications
  • Support recruiting and onboarding efforts by managing job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and new‑hire documentation
  • Assist with benefits administration and leave management, including employee inquiries, open enrollment support, vendor coordination, and compliance tracking
  • Help administer HR policies and procedures while supporting compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
  • Respond to routine employee HR inquiries, escalating issues as appropriate and maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Support employee engagement, recognition initiatives, and coordination of staff events, trainings, and culture‑building activities
  • Utilize HRIS and workflow tools to maintain accurate data, improve efficiency, and streamline HR processes
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation across HR operations

Successful candidates will bring:

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, administrative, or coordinator‑level roles
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • A high level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a service‑oriented approach
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of Washington State and Federal employment laws

This position is full-time nonexempt, 40 hours per week. The schedule is Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
